Our Number One Priority

Safety is the Foundation of
Everything We Build

At SEBA Construction & Drilling, safety is not just a policy—it is a culture embedded in every decision, every action, and every project site.

Our Commitment

Why Safety Comes First

Construction and drilling are inherently high-risk industries. From working at heights and operating heavy machinery to managing pressurized drilling systems and exposure to hazardous materials, every task carries potential dangers.

That is why at SEBA, we believe that no project is ever so urgent that we cannot take the time to do it safely. Every worker who returns home to their family at the end of the day is our greatest measure of success.

Our leadership team is fully committed to creating an environment where safety is everyone's responsibility. We empower every employee—from drillers and engineers to site supervisors—to stop work immediately if they identify unsafe conditions, without fear of retribution.

Safety is not a checklist. It is a mindset that guides how we plan, execute, and complete every project across Tanzania.

Proactive Protection

Our Safety Programs

Daily Toolbox Talks

Every shift begins with a safety briefing where teams review hazards, discuss mitigation measures, and confirm PPE readiness before work commences.

Site Hazard Assessments

Comprehensive risk evaluations are conducted before and during every project phase. Potential hazards are identified, documented, and controlled proactively.

Safety Observation Program

Workers and supervisors actively observe operations and report unsafe behaviors or conditions. Positive observations are celebrated; concerns are addressed immediately.

Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

Every task undergoes a formal JSA to break down steps, identify associated risks, and establish controls before any work begins on site.

Incident Investigation

In the rare event of a near-miss or incident, we conduct thorough root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence and share lessons across all teams.

Health Monitoring

Regular health screenings, fatigue management protocols, and wellness programs ensure our workforce remains physically and mentally fit for duty.

Competent Workforce

Training & Certification

A safe workplace requires a competent workforce. SEBA invests significantly in continuous training to ensure every team member has the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely.

Emergency Response Preparedness

Emergency Action Plans

Every project site has a documented emergency action plan tailored to site-specific hazards, evacuation routes, and assembly points.

First Aid & Medical Response

Trained first aiders are present on all active sites. First aid kits are strategically located and regularly inspected. Ambulance contacts are pre-arranged.

Fire Safety Protocols

Fire extinguishers, blankets, and suppression equipment are maintained per site requirements. Regular fire drills ensure rapid, orderly evacuation.
